Rare Vintage 60's Atala track Bike with wooden rims rare Cinelli stem
|Availability:||In stock (1)|
Good used condition! This bike has been owned by the same collector for the last 20+ years. He slowly took his time restoring the bike. The original owner spot welded the bottom bracket to the bike... not sure why, it works fine as it is but you can not remove the bottom bracket easily. Pictures are the actual bike you will get, not stock photos!
The wheels are really special. The collector purchased the Ghisello rims as NOS in the early 70's but they have never been used. They are as close to new as you can get the tires have never been glued to them. The hubs are Fratelli Brivio (FB) giant flange hubs with alloy flanges pressed into steel centers. They are branded “Schwinn” but FB made the same hubs for several people including campy.
The Vintage “cycle computer” stopwatch attached to handlebar is 100% functional! Wright Swallow leather saddle on alloy seat post. Bike is in very good condition with overall very good chrome finish. Original decals are very good.
